While mourning the loss of both husband and home two years ago, the multi-colored pieces of plastic inside a $7 kaleidoscope were my only solace when human comfort was nonexistent. The colorful patterns of that kaleidoscope were tangible when everything else in my world appeared utterly obscure. I fought chaos and heartache with color. In the same way that those lively bits and pieces dancing around in the dark tube are rearranged into stunning new art with every turn of the cylinder, the bits and pieces of my life are being transformed into new art in the hands of the Master Artist. Color and art are my comfort, my lifeline. I would like to devote more time to refining my artistry to share with others.
