The market runs November - April and is held at the Riverside Center in Decatur from 9AM-1PM.
The Decatur Sculpture Tour began in 2012 after a local artist, Greg Mendez, had been commissioned to do several pieces for area businesses. The goal of the tour is to inspire, soothe, provoke, connect, and involve the public through art.
Such a unique and fun event, it needed mention of its own. As part of the Decatur Sculpture Tour activities, artists are invited to set up shop throughout the city and paint.
An event organized by the Decatur Chamber of Commerce, this is a crowd favorite. Picture food vendors, lawn chairs, music variety, sunshine, and you have the concert series — best of all, steps from the 2nd St. Lofts.
