The City of Decatur has embraced the arts as a means of economic stimulus and welcomes artistically inspired innovation. 

A primary home to working artists, the space will open their doors on occasion for a gallery opening or special events.  The interior of this space is inspiring and a must-see.

APLS has created the Makerspace to offer new and cutting edge technology to the community! Library visitors can flex their creative muscle while learning about the technology of today and tomorrow in the Maker Space!

North Adams Arts Council (NAAC) was created to connect art and the community. NAAC encourages members to explore their creativity and express themselves through many forms of art.

A seasonal sensation, the market plays hosts to a growing list of vendors each year. 

The market runs November - April and is held at the Riverside Center in Decatur from 9AM-1PM.

The Decatur Sculpture Tour began in 2012 after a local artist, Greg Mendez, had been commissioned to do several pieces for area businesses.  The goal of the tour is to inspire, soothe, provoke, connect, and involve the public through art.

Such a unique and fun event, it needed mention of its own.  As part of the Decatur Sculpture Tour activities, artists are invited to set up shop throughout the city and paint.

An event organized by the Decatur Chamber of Commerce,  this is a crowd favorite.  Picture food vendors, lawn chairs, music variety, sunshine, and you have the concert series — best of all, steps from the 2nd St. Lofts.
